The one thing I knew would happen in retail eventually caught up to me this week. Our manager is on vacation and an employee walked out, quitting with no notice. So guess who was responsible for being MOD on all shifts for the past three days?
Sigh.
I called other stores looking for coverage. No one could help until today. Nothing like leaving the house at 6:30 AM and getting home at 11:00 PM. Three days in a row.
My life came to a grinding halt. The overtime will be nice though.
